Lindley F. is a litigator with significant experience with employment law and business litigation. Lindley also handles employment agreements, investigations, and advice and counseling.

Lindley graduated summa cum laude from the University of Southern California in 1998, where she was the valedictorian for the School of Public Policy and Management. She received her Juris Doctor from the University of California, Berkeley in 2002, where she graduated in the top 1/3 of her class.

After law school, Lindley joined Latham & Watkins where she focused on intellectual property matters, environmental law, and complex business litigation. During her time at Latham, Lindley served as lead counsel on an unlawful detainer matter, drafted legislation for the California Water Code, negotiated multiple settlements, took and defended depositions, and worked on multiple complex cases.

Lindley also served as Associate Counsel for K. Hovnanian Homes, where she handled real estate and employment law matters.

Lindley then joined Payne & Fears, where she focused on employment and business litigation matters. At Payne & Fears, Lindley prepared multiple cases for trial, took and defended over 50 depositions, prepared dispositive motions, mediated cases, and counseled a broad spectrum of clients on various litigation and employment law matters.

Lindley continues to handle employment law and HR consulting, and mediation. Lindley provides counseling on pre-litigation employment and labor law matters, DFEH and EEOC response letters, employee handbooks and policies, sexual harassment training, workplace investigations, human resources training, and employment law mediation services.
